What is the best way for me to bring up sex talk,menstruation to my 9 year old? and is that to early.?

She is 9 and physically mature for her age, i figure her period can come anyday now. and the whole sex thing, i just am not ready to get into that, she is very inquisitive and i feell like as soon as i have the talk, she loses her innocence, maybe i am not ready to let go. anyone with any suggestions, i would appreciat it.

Talk to her about her period, training bras, and things like that. For the sex talk, you can buy her one of those books for teen girls that explain everything. That way she can read as much or as little of the book as she feels comfortable with. Tell her she is welcome to ask any questions.
